The CD will not load correctly?
  • Go to internet options in control panel
  • Select Programs from the tab
  • Select the ‘Make internet explorer the default browser
  • Reload the CD and install software
  • After installation customer can revert back to preferred browser

If you have Internet Explorer 8

  • Take out CD, open IE8 and reinsert CD.
  • Go to my computer- right click NoteTaker 3.4 icon in CD drive
  • Select open - run Setup exe for NoteTaker and MyScript.
 
 
I have changed my browser to Internet Explorer but I still cannot install the software?
Please email us at support@e-pens.com and request a new CD.
 
 
I cannot view the Tutorial video?

My Pen appears to be broken?
  • Ensure the ink refill is inserted correctly.
  • Are your batteries inserted the right way up? The positive + should be at the top.
  • Are your batteries run down? If so replace them and try again.
  • Check to see if the memory unit is working okay.

Memory unit has stopped functioning correctly?
Please try the following steps;
  • Ensure unit is fully charged via usb cable
  • Locate the reset button on the underside of the unit and press and hold for 5 secs.

I cannot import my Recognition training notes into the Wizard?
Once you have saved your notes into NoteManager, you must convert the notes using MyScript Notes (See page 33 in the User Manual) and save them to your desktop or in a new folder. (You may need to save the data from your e-pen to your the Note Manger software first if you have captured the training notes remotely). You will then have to insert the converted training notes files into the wizard when asked.
 
 
When I upload my notes my writing is at an angle of 45°?
Open the NoteManager software - Connect the device via USB cable - Go to Configuration on the tool bar-Select ‘Set the Device orientation’ - select your preferred position-save and close.
(Please note that you have to have the memory unit top centre if you wish to use in mouse mode).
